Another reason is this location where I'm working at is currently short staffed all the time and supervisors, managers just come and go. They will give the Food Department Employees a temporary $2.00 raise in the summer/fall seasons since a lot of families want to go out and have a great vacation here before their kids go back to school again. It isn't that great for me but its decent for a high school student. The things I hate about this place is the Pay Wage. After being uncomfortable trying to work the cashier the first few days, I was already skilled at working the register with a couple of weeks and learn how guests order their food and wanting special requests. It was quite busy everyday even with the limited occupancy from the COVID Protocols. I started serving guests their coffee and drinks my first week then started making breakfast items which I already had experience with but I needed to get comfortable my first few weeks. When I first started, there was already some drama going on with my former supervisor and a co-worker and I already knew it was going to be a wonderful month for me. I work the morning shift in their little coffee shop and it is quite the hassle to work in. ![]()
